These data protection provisions ("privacy policy") apply to the website of worldgold.io published by WorldGold.io ("website operator").

These data protection provisions form the basis for the processing of personal data of users of the website or the online store ("customers") and provide information on what kind of user data is collected from customers by the website operator, how the website operator uses this data and what rights the customers are entitled to. The website operator complies with the applicable data protection laws and processes the personal data solely for the purposes for which the data was transmitted.

This privacy policy is adapted, supplemented or changed from time to time. With each new call or visit to the website, the current, retrievable version applies.

Nature and purpose of the data collected

The term personal data or person-related data within the meaning of this privacy policy includes information by which customers can be personally identified.

Processing of personal data means any handling of personal data, such as collecting, using, storing, disclosing, transmitting or deleting the data.

When visiting the website, statistical visitor data is automatically collected about which parts of the web offer are visited by the customer. Each time a website is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, the customer's IP address, the date and time of the call-up, the browser used, the operating system, the volume of data transferred and documents the call-up.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving the offer.

The website operator does not automatically collect personal data of customers, such as the name, address, telephone number or email address.

On the other hand, personal data of customers are collected if a customer provides them voluntarily in the context of an order or when contacting the website operator (e.g. via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases the website operator requires the data for the execution of the contract or for processing the contact and without their information the order or the contact can not be sent. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms.

If a customer decides to open a customer account, the website operator uses the personal data for the purpose of opening a customer account. The mandatory data requested during registration must be provided in full, otherwise the website operator may refuse registration. The website operator uses the collected personal data only for the purpose of using the online store or the respective offer or service for which the customer has registered. In addition, the website operator may use the customer's email address to inform the customer about important changes, for example in the scope of the offer, or in the case of technically necessary changes.

After complete execution of the contract or after deletion of the customer account, the customer's data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the statutory retention periods, unless the customer has expressly consented to further use of the data or the website operator reserves the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law. The deletion of the customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact details given below (see point 9.) or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

Legal basis for collecting and processing personal data

The legal basis for the collection and processing of the customer's personal data depends in each individual case on the purpose of the data processing. In question are namely:

the protection of the legitimate interests of the website operator, provided that the interests of the customer or fundamental rights or freedoms are not unreasonably affected;
the conclusion or performance of a contract; or
consent of the customer at the time of collection of the personal data.

The customer may revoke his consent at any time. For this purpose, the customer can send a corresponding message to the contact details given below (see point 9.). The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Use of cookies

4.1

The website operator uses Google Analytics. To disable Google Analytics customers can install a browser add-on from Google, available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

4.2

The website operator uses session cookies for the online store, which are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing the web browser. Session cookies are a technical component of the store functionality and do not contain any personal data.

Newsletter

5.1

If the customer would like to receive a newsletter offered by the website operator, the website operator requires an email address of the customer and other information that allows the verification that the customer is the owner of the specified email address and agrees to receive the newsletter (so-called double-opt-in procedure). If the customer wishes to subscribe to a newsletter as a registered customer, he can give his consent to this at the time of registration or later via the registration function in the customer account.

With the newsletter, the customer regularly receives recommendations and offers that might interest them. For this purpose, the website operator collects and processes personal data regarding orders placed with the website operator and how the customer uses the newsletter (e.g. whether the newsletter is opened). The website operator may evaluate this data for statistical purposes in order to better tailor the content of the newsletter to the interests of the customer.

The processing of the personal data entered in the newsletter registration form is based on the consent of the customer, which the customer can revoke at any time for the future. The revocation takes place either via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter, written notification of the customer to the website operator to the contact details given below (see point 9.) or the unsubscribe in the customer account. The website operator uses the collected personal data for the content design and the dispatch of the newsletter. It is not passed on to third parties for their own (advertising) purposes.

Data disclosure

6.1

The website operator will not disclose the personal data of customers to third parties. The exception to this is if the customer has agreed to the disclosure of the data to companies that are not affiliated with the website operator, if the disclosure is necessary to provide the products and services requested by the customer e.g. for the delivery of physical products, or if the website operator is required to do so by law, by the authorities or by a court of law.

Data security

7.1

The transmission of data via the Internet is not secure. The website operator cooperates with service providers and Internet providers who take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data of customers. However, the website operator cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted by the customer in the course of data transmission. Any data transmission is therefore at the customer's own risk.

Information and revocation rights

8.1

The customer can inform the website operator at any time that the personal data should not be used for contacting in the future. Likewise, the participation in the special services of the website, such as the newsletter service, can be revoked at any time.

8.2

The customer has the possibility to obtain information on the processing of the data or to request a copy of the personal data collected through the website.
